Test Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY: A Test Engineer designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. The position performs a variety of technical, multi-disciplined tasks early in the Product Development Process to provide timely, flexible, universal tools and processes. The Test Engineer makes knowledgeable, data-driven decisions and employs innovative technologies with optimal control and maximum speed and flexibility.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure testability of new product designs, providing feedback to design teams addressing opportunities for defects in manufacturing and field use.Accurately estimate project costs as associated with implementing test solutions.Own the test requirements from the vendor to shipment to the customer.Verify products meet their functional requirements, including design verification and manufacturing screens.Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures for new products.Analyze capabilities and ensure control of critical parameters of products and test equipment.EXPERIENCE:4+ years of relevant design/development team and/or manufacturing support.Proven ability to methodically solve complex, technical issues.Demonstrated proficiency in NI LabView test application development.Fluent English 80%.Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or similar.#J-18808-Ljbffr
