To coordinate traffic flows at stations, hubs, and cross dock locations. Interacts daily with Couriers/Sales/Customer Service to coordinate load volumes for domestic services. Monitors loading and unloading of trucks in a safe and efficient manner. Formulates alternate plans as needed to include additional trucks Coordinates any delays, overflows, cancellations, and re-routes, to ensure on time arrivals and departures. Leads and provides support to cargo handling employees. Coordinates and monitors split and routing of freight through interline (passenger airlines), and feeders; to ensure on time arrival of cargo to final destination. Completes and maintains updated records of all related paperwork. Generates reports regarding levels on operational service metrics (OSM).College degree preferred. Two (2) years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management. Proficiency in oral and written English. Strong communication skills. Valid driver's license required. Analytical ability with basic knowledge of FedEx systems.
