Job Description - Transportation Data Analyst (0091YL) About the position This position will suit a Data Analyst demonstrating expertise to translate data into information, creating dashboards, KPIs and metrics to support customers and leaders to make sure we are shipping the right product, at the right cost via the right mode.
What will you do? Compile, clean, validate, and organize data from various sources, including internal databases, external reports, and industry benchmarks, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Utilize statistical methods and tools to analyze trends, patterns, and correlations.Enhanced master data quality through regional ERP projects resulting in more accurate shipping documents and refined shipping processes.Designed and built dashboards for key KPIs to support operations using Tableau and Power BI.Communicate data-driven insights to colleagues, promoting awareness and engagement.Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to sustainability.Work closely with cross-functional teams (such as operations, facilities – regional and corporate) to integrate sustainability practices.Create visually appealing charts, graphs, and dashboards to convey complex sustainability data to non-technical audiences.What skills and capabilities will make you successful? Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively across the organization and with external stakeholders.ERP (Oracle and SAP).BI tools (Power BI and Tableau).Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, SBTi, TCFD, GRI, CDP).Business case evaluation and financial modeling.What's in it for you?
