ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and solve complex transportation planning or engineering problems involving all travel modesCommunicate clearly and concisely, using strong writing and presentation skillsUse a variety of software programs effectively and make timely and informed recommendations to elected officials, managers, and decisionmakersWork on a variety of projects, which may include traffic and transit simulation, campus plans, multimodal corridor studies, transportation impact studies, bicycle and pedestrian studies, regional transportation plans, and moreManage projects and develop high-quality staff and client relationshipsQualifications3-5 years of experience in engineering design, travel demand forecasting, and/or traffic operationsA bachelor's or master's degree in transportation, civil or electrical engineering, urban and regional planning, or a related major (e.g., geography, math, statistics, economics)Experience with project management, design, and marketingExcellent technical writing and public speaking skillsExperience with one or more of the following software: HCS, Synchro/SimTraffic, Vistro, VISSIM, Cube/Voyager, TransCAD, EMME, AutoCADWillingness to travel to other geographic markets as necessaryProfessional license (highly desirable)GIS experience (preferred, but not required)$80,000 - $100,000 a year
