About the role The Sr. Supv, Payroll position at Carrier has the responsibility of leading and supervising the accurate and efficient processing of payroll, ensuring compliance and internal control through team management and the development of effective procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Update payroll data changes in the payroll system Supervise a team of analysist to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
Ensure that documents received are properly completed and authorized prior to processing.
Review payroll reports prior to the live production of the payroll.
Reconcile data errors and communicates/ records corrective action.
Respond to employee and management inquiries related to payroll.
Assist with balancing year end payroll filings and year end reports according to Federal, State and Local legislation and deadlines (i.e.
W-2s).
Assist with projects and assignments as required.
Requirements 5+ years of experience in a payroll role Demonstrated experience in supervisory roles, leading and motivating a team.
advanced level of English College degree in a related field such as Office Administration, Accounting, or Payroll is preferred.
Must have in-depth knowledge of the GlobalView (ADP) SAP based payroll system.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Sound knowledge of Payroll Administration and Human Resources practices and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with team members.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal personnel at all levels.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent organizational skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
