KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Accountabr the strategic direction rmware and signal processing within the embedded software space and working closely with senior management to set strategy, priorities, direction and capability requirements.Understand market dynamics and needs to deliver onthe corporate strategy and provide opportunitir growth and share gains through embedded softwanctionality, including by leveraging standard bodies and rnal partnerships.Collaborate with R&D management, marketing and others to support the development of an innovative and inspirationve-year Product and Services Plan ature strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE Ensures a unified approach to embedded software to create a global team that collaborates to deliver on Cochlear strategic goals through an architecture that supports current ature needs of implant and sound processor development and research and technology needs.Ensures consistency and interoperability acrormware and signal processing deliverables across products and technologies by leveraging architectural thinking, design / code re-use, efficient test and tool deployment and improved infrastructure.Develop products as srth in the product plan that exceed customer expectations, continuously improve, and reduce the cost to develop, build and service.
Support the delivery of new technologies in a timely manner ahead of product development to de-risk product delivery and ensure continuous innovation.
