.Requisition ID: 3964Position Summary:The Web Designer & Content Manager has an exceptional eye for visual design and solid skills for digital marketing. Responsible for web related design activities and maintaining the content of Carestream's online presence. The Web Designer & Content Manager serves as the first point of contact for all web content requests. As such, this individual works closely with the marketing, brand, platform, and user experience (UX) teams to maintain the proper voice and tone of all site content. In addition, the Web Designer & Content Manager will work with web analytics to develop, maintain, and monitor site standards.Position Responsibilities:Provide first point-of-contact support for public web properties, including general questions or inquiries, content management, site enhancements or changes.Work closely with Company Branding & Web Content teams to ensure consistent and cohesive experience throughout all web properties.Help drive conceptual cohesiveness across brand, marketing campaigns and content.Responsible for optimizing User Interface (UI), implementing visual standards, and ensuring that usability options are consistent across web properties so that visitors to our site have a consistent, positive experience while browsing.Collaborate with UX manager with communicating and qualifying platform development requests.Work with clients to conceptualize, design, and implement high impact web experiences across marketing, outreach, and development campaigns.Coordinate content creation and ensure appropriate business approval across multiple stakeholders.Design and implement a suite of templates and image assets for email, landing pages, marketing collateral for the marketing team and staff to communicate with prospective customers and external stakeholders.Design digital marketing assets for social media graphics (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), email HTML templates, website landing pages, e-commerce sites, and digital advertising.Required Skills & Education:
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent proven work experience
- 5+ years' experience managing website content and production using a CMS
- 3+ years' experience working with digital analytics packages, with an understanding of technical requirements and limitations – Google Analytics is preferred
- Ability to work across teams on more complex project collaborations and autonomously. Decide how to approach a design problem and organize and manage your projects
- Presentation skills to communicate design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback in your designs aligning with brand strategy
- Working knowledge of digital marketing techniques including SEO, social media, and content marketing
- High-level technical understanding (HTML, XHTML, CSS, Java, web publishing, etc
