As a Wood Coating Formulator, you will be part of a technical team responsible for the development of wood coatings.
You will report to the S&T Product Development Chemist.
Key Responsibilities
Follow experimental procedures, create reliable data, and demonstrate the ability to contribute to the design of experiments.
Perform and analyze the physicochemical and performance properties of wood paints.
Prepare reports of results.
Complete work plans and experiment designs in new product and process development projects.
Help implement new product and process development projects in the manufacturing areas.
Collaborate with different teams, such as Marketing, Innovation, Quality Control, and Production, in projects that contribute to customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
5+ years of experience handling UV equipment, development of color systems, and implementing industrial coating systems with end customers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (capable of maintaining complex spreadsheets).
Experience in physical and mechanical testing of materials.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
