Overview:- New Account Manager role within Trinseo Plastics Solutions business to be part of the commercial activities for Mexico/LATAM Automotive and Industrial compounds. Role leads development and implementation of regional Automotive and Industrial ABS and compounds sales.- Develop and implement medium & long-term sales strategy, as well as short-term sales tactics for Trinseo Plastic Solutions sales for Automotive, Industrial and Compounds - Mexico/LATAM- Responsibility for meeting annual volume and margin targets.- Develop new business in alignment with Trinseo business strategy.- Enable best practices sharing with the other Account Managers in Mexico/LATAM and between the other global regions.- Support entire sales team in major contract negotiations with key accounts.- Establish and manage key customer relationships in Mexico/LATAM.**Responsibilities**:**Essential Functions****%**Define and implement sales strategy & tactics: steering, coaching, price guidance of sales teams, customer meetings, participating trade fairs etc.40Internal reporting, participation in and preparation of internal business meetings15Interact with internal functions: Business and, product mgmt., S/D planning, TS&D/R&D, finance mgmt. to discuss/define actions to realize targets to maximize the financial performance and meeting and exceeding the targets set15Own commercial excellence & commercial market intelligence agendas. Run sales development projects and initiatives in collaboration with marketing and product management10Lead and participate in projects10Admin processes, e.G., price approvals, sales approvals processes10Qualifications:- Minimum Education Required:University degree in business, engineering, chemistry, process technology.Minimum Experience- (Years and type):Min 5 years' experience in sales, marketing, product management roles in B2B environment, out of which 3+ years in Automotive/Plastics/Chemical/Process industryKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:- Proven record of successfully conducting significant business > $50MM.- Good Business Acumen & financial skills.- Particularly good people mgmt. and leadership skills. Collaborator- Understanding of Automotive segment and compounding market in Automotive and Industrial- Ability to balance long-term value add, while being able to meet also short-term volume, margin, and WC goals.- Ability to work in a volatile, fast changing business environment.- Common sense, responsibility, and accountability- Understand the fundamentals of our mfg. operations.- Ability to manage decision makers at various organizational levels in a multicultural environment.- Multilingual, being fluent (verbal & written) in English and preferably one other major European language
