The role involves developing medium and long-term sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and building long-term partnerships with suppliers to support energy projects. The individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality services aligned with project objectives.How You'll Make an ImpactSupplier identification & qualification: Lead the development and implementation of global strategies for castings procurement, focusing on cost savings, improved lead times, and enhanced product quality.Supplier relationship management: Drive the identification, qualification, and management of casting suppliers globally. Work closely with suppliers to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase capacity and reliability.Cost Management: Develop and deploy cost models for castings, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of financial performance in alignment with business targets.Risk Management: Analyze and manage risks associated with the casting supply chain, including capacity constraints, quality issues, and geopolitical risks. Develop contingency plans and ensure supplier diversification. Work with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, and Finance, to resolve technical and commercial challenges related to casting procurement.Market Analysis: Stay informed of global market trends, including commodity price fluctuations, technological advancements in casting methods, and regulatory changes that impact the casting supply base.Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with suppliers to optimize quality, lead times, and cost efficiency for castings.What You BringUniversity Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional Experience (minimum 4 years) in at least one of the fields: Strategic Procurement, Commodity Management, Strategy Consulting, Project Management, Engineering.Strong experience and track record in advanced negotiation concepts, contract negotiations.Strong understanding of global procurement practices and experience in managing relationships with service providers outside the traditional Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) scope.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of time
