Responsible to supervise and coordinate Data Steward team for projects related collecting, collating, and evaluating item's data and data integrity for the NA and EMEA Digital Branches.
The Data Steward Supervisor will be a key element in the development of data quality standards that must be applied to the data sets that are both used and produced for our websites.
These standards are to be communicated to the NA and EMEA PIM teams (Data Governance and Product Content Specialist), Digital Architects Specialists, Category Management Teams, and Digital Merchandising Teams, globally.
**JOB DUTIES**:
- Act as leader and as an escalation point between Data Steward and different departments within the Digital team.
- Collecting, collating, and evaluating items' data and data integrity.
- Manage, develop, motivate, and recognize team members
- Hold group and 1:1 meetings with team members
- Communicates effectively across the organization to adhere to stringent timelines
- Work with Data Governance and Product Content Specialist to implement and enforce the product content guidelines
- Identifying key business terms for resolution and standardized definition, ensuring compliance with naming conventions and naming standards for products attributes.
- Participate in the development of data quality standards that must be applied to the data sets
- Validating data as it enters the environment to ensure that data suppliers information complies with data quality expectations.
- Support new modules, releases, and project deployment by ensuring data creation or modifications in its area.
- Participate in data quality/cleansing activities to ensure data accuracy and completeness
**YOU MUST HAVE**:
- High school or equivalent
- Team management experience
- 1-3 years' experience in purchasing or data maintenance, data steward, metadata management, business intelligence, data analysis or equivalent
- Intermediate Excel
- Experience in Data lineage, Data Classification, Data Recollection
- Experience in determining how data should be stored and managed
- Knowledge and understanding of data governance challenges and best practice for metadata, data quality and data stewardship
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills

- Ability to keep organized records for back up data
- Contributing to and working on other DX projects, as needed
- Working additional hours when necessary for completion of a project
