**ob Title**:Operations Manager, LatAM**Location**:Mexico City**Primary purpose of the role**:MAJOR JOB REPSONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES- Understand and acknowledge Regional Sales Plans with local and DTR components to achieve Sales Targets.- Lead and support regional sales teams on DTR sales initiatives.- Analyze all available data to accurately identify and forecast demand trends.- Plan inventory levels at different geographical distribution centers to optimize order fulfillment, minimize inventory and maximize turns.- Manage purchase order process with domestic and foreign vendors.- Serve as a liaison with Coleman's customers and suppliers (Coleman Supply Chain and NTC) to ensure product availability meets product demand.- Provide direction for quick resolution of critical material shortages.- Develop thorough understanding of the events that drive Coleman's supply and demand requirements.
Use that knowledge to identify supply/demand drivers, quantifying supply/demand assumptions, communicate and defend the results of the presented supply/demand plan.- Work within Fulfillment Planning team to seek input, guidance and suggestions from all departments that can provide data/intelligence towards future demand and supply patterns.- Participate and support the cross-segment S&OP process.- Develop KPIs, target performance and track actual vs. plan results with assigned action items for performance shortfalls.- University Degree in Engineering or Business Administration Required.- +7 years of combined experience in Demand, Supply and S&OP.- Experience in dealing multicultural environment.- Full Bilingual capabilities - English-Spanish (Portuguese optional).- Experience in MRP systems (SAP, IBP), manufacturing process, purchasing, inventory management and materials planning required.- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.- Ability to perform and analyze basic financial calculations for making sound business recommendations.- Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational and prioritization skills.- Must have ability to learn quickly and work under little supervision.- Must be able to work with confidential information on a daily basis.- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.- Knowledge/understanding of supply chain and inventory management processes.- Ability to travel as needed.Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, FoodSaver, Calphalon, Sistema, Sharpie, Paper Mate, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer's, Yankee Candle, Graco, NUK, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Spontex, Coleman, Campingaz, Oster, Sunbeam and Mr. Coffee.
