The main responsability for a SPQE & PRM is active project quality support and problem resolution management.
The Software Project Quality Engineer / Problem Resolution Manager helps track and report quality status to project and line management and offer pragmatic suggestions for improvement.
He/She supports software project managers, module developers and testers in achieving their quality goals by providing tool, method and process training as well as coaching.
Contribute to continuos improvement of problem resolution management process.
Keep tracking, visualisation, analysis and closing the open problem reports.
You are a well-organised, structured and motivated team-player and possess strong communications skills as well as a focused quality mindset.
**Resposibilities**:
- Monitor / report the quality status and quality measures to the project as well as to management
- Active support of SW core team members regarding development methods and processes
- Implementation of method and tool training
- First address for quality topics within projects
- Moderation of 5 Why (Why-Why) analysis
- Tracking and reporting of quality status and measures to project and line management
- Active coaching of team members on development methods and processes
- Preparation and support in Audit / Assessment
- Agreement with and reports of quality measures to the customer
- Train and coach project teams with respect to PRM process
- Create problem report statistics/metrics
- Support management and customer reporting.
Prepare and moderate internal/customer meetings
- Analyze the actual problem report status.
Identify deviations in respect to planning vs. Actual status
**Qualifications**:
Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Minimum 3 years professional experience in Automotive with electronic products or systems or relevant field
Experience in active safety electronic systems or other safety electronic products is a plus
Experience in Agile methodology is a plus
Advanced know-how in change and problem resolution management
Good software development process knowledge
Good project management skills (incl.
effort / cost estimation, project planning, monitoring, risk management)
Good communication and presentation skills
Basic knowledge about the Product Life Cycle
Basic requirements engineering skills
Willingness to travel
