**About the Role**The Sr. Carrier Manager I, works strategically with Transportation Brokerage customers to gain an understanding of their specific transportation procurement challenges and support the end-to-end execution of transportation procurement events and strategies. Managing and building strong relationships, with core carriers, is critical to this process.- Carrier and capacity negotiations according to customer strategies- End-to-End Strategy and Execution of Uber Freight facilitated transportation procurement events (RFP and mini-bids)- Develop and enhance relationships with core carriers- Participate and lead in the development of capacity solutions for Uber Freight Clients- Administration and coordination of onsite and virtual meetings for external carriers- Conduct monthly or quarterly business reviews with core carriers- Carrier escalation support on touchless execution service through MacroPoint, EDI, etc.- Market intelligence and proactive analytics to identify trends.- Analysis of bid data, carrier classifications, year over year comparisons- Data Mining including carrier classifications, specialty score carding, historical information and other Uber Freight data- Network analysis to find potential opportunities for new business- Recommend new carriers based on Uber Freight data analysis and knowledge of the Shipper's network and transportation market**Basic Qualifications**- High school diploma or GED equivalent- Minimum of 3 years' experience in carrier procurement, carrier management or related jobs**Preferred Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field- 3 years or more analyzing and managing Truckload transportation, either at a shipper, carrier or 3PL- Knowledge of truckload industry, major carriers, cost drivers, and best practices- Exemplary analytical skills, comfortable analyzing data and presenting findings and recommendations effectively in both verbal and written communications- Knowledge of Market trends and Economic forecast to educate customer and to be on leading edge to modify forecast of capacity needs- Expertise in transportation procurement and use of technology to execute bid events- Proficient Spanish and English, written and verbal**About Uber Freight**Pay: $28,000.00 - $30,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- 64640, Monterrey, NL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Application Question(s):- Do you have experience using Pivot Tables and Vlookup in Excel?**Education**:- High school or equivalent (required)**Experience**:- Carrier Management: 3 years (required)Work Location: In person
