As a Senior Software Developer in Engineering R&D, you will be involved in developing the next generation of products in AspenTech's industry-leading engineering suite that includes Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus and Aspen Customer Modeler.
Your Impact
- Design, develop, maintain, and support the back-end for AspenTech next generation engineering platform.
- Collaborate with product managers, product designers and developers to develop detailed product requirements for the next generation engineering platform back-end.
- Keep current with new and developing technologies as they appear in industry and assist in determining the feasibility of implementing new technologies.
What You'll Need
- B.S. in Computer Science with 5+years experience in Back-End development
- Proficiency in C#
- Experience with: Distributed services/microservices, relational databases (SQL\MYSQL), modern API protocols including REST, GraphQL & gRPC, SignalR, WebSockets, stress testing & performance debottlenecking.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- English fluency (written and verbal) required
