As a Senior Software Developer in Engineering R&D, you will be involved in developing game-changing, next-generation capabilities for our market-leading simulation and engineering products.
Your Impact
- Design, develop, maintain, and support AspenTech's innovated process engineering products
- Provide leadership to encourage adoption of software engineering best practices
- Collaborate with product managers, product designers and developers to develop detailed product requirements for unit operation models and solution algorithms
- Keep current with new and developing technologies as they appear in industry and academia and assist in determining the feasibility of implementing new technologies
What You'll Need
- BS in Computer Science or related fields
- Expertise with C++
- Experience with Windows C#/.NET development and web technologies
- Experience with cloud technologies (Azure or AWS) is a plus
- Experience with WPF and ASP.NET development is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills
- Experience in identifying and estimating project requirements/tasks
- Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
- English fluency (written and verbal) required
