**Title**: Test Engineer OFP
**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Coahuila ISG Mexico
**Function**: Engineering (CA)
**Main Responsibilities**:
Plans and performs tester engineering work for a project or process.
This work includes change management and equipment maintenance administration/execution.
Operates in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process.
At this level, projects are of moderate scope and responsibility or may be a significant portion of a major and diverse project or process; decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors and/or managers.
May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work for support personnel, contractors and suppliers.
Includes active participation in continuous improvement program as member of a business improvement team (BIT).
**What Skills You Need**:
- Analyzes and makes modifications to existing test equipment inventory and tester vector strategy.
- Establishes routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation and quality plans for revisions to current tester operations for existent and/or new parts or programs.
- Provides technical support and troubleshooting for current tester operations - according to escalation path.
Investigates, gathers and analyze data and implement solutions.
- Develops and implements plans to support lean manufacturing.
Designs operations layouts.
Improves material flow and material presentation.
Writes operation instructions.
- Innovates and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas.
- Performs team studies related to yield, downtime, capacity and energy.
- Maintenance and special projects budget administration (fixed assets and expenses).
- Comprehensive electrical/schematics diagrams.
**What Makes You Stand Out**:
- Background in Engineering (mechatronics or electronics).
- Understands the Order Fulfillment Process (OFP).
- Knowledge of manufacturing test equipment, total preventative maintenance and facilities.
- Working knowledge of database management tools and process management systems.
- Familiar to cross functional work relationship (collaborate and get support from other engineering areas).
- Knowledge of capital budgeting and capital equipment justification process.
